The Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland is the local presence in the British Isles of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, a self-governing part of the Russian Orthodox Church, with Christians from Britain, Ireland, and many other parts of the world. We are part of the worldwide communion of Eastern Orthodox Churches, and we have excellent relations with our sister Diocese of Sourozh.
