Shrines and other Places of Pilgrimage

- Orthodox Ireland Pilgrimages
- Orthodox Tours - organising pilgrimages to Orthodox holy sites around the world.
- Walsingham - the site of an apparition of the Mother of God. The Anglican shrine hosts the Orthodox chapel of the Life-Giving Fount.
- Ladyewell - a place of pilgrimage since at least the 8th century, Ladyewell has a holy well and a shrine run by the Roman Catholic church. Orthodox pilgrimages can be arranged by contacting the shrine administrators.
- Lindisfarne - the monastic Holy Island of Lindisfarne was the home of Ss Aidan, Cuthbert, Colman, and countless others.
- Iona - home to Ss Columcille, Blaithmaic, and numerous others.
- Saint Winefride's Well - a holy well on the site of the martyrdom of St Winefride, known for its healing miracles. There is an annual Orthodox pilgrimage to Holywell in October and personal pilgrimages may be made during shrine opening hours.
- Saint Werburgh's Shrine - the restored shrine of the Holy Abbess Werburgh is at the east end of Chester cathedral. Unfortunately, outside of service times, there is a charge for admission to the cathedral.

- Saint Eadward's Shrine - The relics of the holy martyr King Eadward may be venerated at the St Edward monastery at Brookwood. If visiting outside of service times, please contact the monastery beforehand to make the necessary arrangements.
- Saint Bertram's Shrine - the shrine of St Bertram, King of Mercia. There is an annual Orthodox pilgrimage in August organised by the parish of St Michael, Audley.
- Tombs of Ss Cuthbert of Lindisfarne and Bede the Venerable - both tombs are located within Durham cathedral. To arrange group pilgrimages, contact the cathedral's e-mail address for general enquiries.
- Relics of St Audrey - The incorrupt hand of St Etheldreda (Audrey) may be venerated in St Etheldreda's Roman Catholic church.
- Lichfield Cathedral - there is a reconstructed shrine on the former site of the relics of St Chad.
