The customary Morning and Evening Prayers can be found here. These conform to the practice of the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia and most patterns of Russian Orthodox practice. The "Boston" or "Blue Prayer Book" follows more of the Greek Practice and is rather different to the usual ROCOR practice as laid out in the Jordanville Prayer Book. What matters is that the Orthodox Christian tries to pray. It is a pious custom to do these prayers and consecrate the beginning and the end of the day as prayerfully as possible. St Demitri of Rostov says that it is better to do one prayer well than many prayers without sincerity. We should do our best. Archimandrite Sophrony suggested replacing these prayers by the Jesus Prayer. This is a possibility if we do not have access to a Prayer Book. These prayers have been saved in a way which hopefully makes them accessible from the internet and can be used when we are away from home, travelling or on pilgrimage.
