A new reader was tonsured at the Altar Feast of the Wallasey Parish on 22nd July 2018

Vladika Irenei travelled to Merseyside to serve a full Hierarchal Liturgy in St Elisabeth's followed by a Cross Procession around the outside of the church and the veneration of the relics of St Elisabeth and St Barbara which are kept at the church. The Liturgy was very well attended with both parishioners and friends of the parish from London and Cardiff. It was wonderful to be able to have a full Hierarchal service on the day as the parish was really delighte to welcome Fr Deacon Mark and his family from Mettingham as well as Subdeacon Nicolas from the London Cathedral.  After the service there was the usual parish garden party at Fr Paul's house. The bishop was greeted at 09:45. During the Hours, Nicholas Corbett was tonsured as a Reader.
